Ed and I met up at 5AM for a nice and easy Monte Sano ranger station out & back trail run. We ended up with our usual 10 miles in 1:49. A constant drizzle kept us refreshed, but also cautious. We were taking it very easy, watching our footing on slippery wet rocky trails as we were ascending and descending Monte Sano mountain on Tollgate and other connecting trails. It seems our remaining training buddies and Dixie200 team mates are already tapering for Friday's event. It's gonna be a blast!
