Instead of the usual Ranger Station out & back trail run, Richard and I added a little loop at the top of the run by running the Sinks Trail section as part of our run. That gave us close to 11 miles with plenty of climbing as usual.
Rich and I took off at 5AM sharp. The weather wasn't quite as mild as the previous few days with temps in the low 40s. Unfortunately, the trails were still muddy from the previous rainfalls and there was no way to keep our feet dry today. However, it was a great run at a slow but steady pace with almost 1500 feet of elevation gain. Hopefully, my training will continue to go smoothly.

We were almost 1 min faster per mile today. That rocks.
