18 March 2011
Beautiful weather, 54 degrees as I stepped outside my house and drove over to Richard and Mike's office. We met up at 5:30AM for a nice 9 mile out and back to Rainbow Mountain. Instead, I ended up cutting my run short and turned around with after 2.5 miles for a nice and easy 5 miles in order to stay fresh for tomorrow's adventure, the Natchez Trace Adventure Race at Natchez Trace State Resort Park in Tennessee. James and I and a couple of other guys will be heading out later today to check in at the race and check out the transition area and other notable points of interest before taking part in this race tomorrow morning. Should be a fun way to break up my ultra training, if you want to call it that;-)
