15 April 2010
Three of our usual running group members got together at lunch time for a quick six miles at Indian Creek Greenway and up and down the Rainbow Mountain trail loop. The heat really requires some getting used to again. We ended up running it at a decent pace, considering that we also had to run up the mountain as part of this run. Aside from being desperately thirsty, I was feeling pretty good. So good, in fact, that I added another 3.5 miles after work, making it 9.5 miles for the day. I ended up doing a bit of a tempo run, which definitely had me struggling towards the end. Overall, not a bad day for me. Tomorrow, real speed work is on the schedule. Let's see how that goes.
