Finally, I went for a run again after a two day layoff. I almost feel guilty not running for two days. But I could not weasel out this morning. I had promised my better half that I would "encourage" her to get up for a run and we did. We ran a little over 4 miles at a nice relaxed pace that felt great to both of us. We ran the usual UAH loop close to our house. You can tell summer is coming. The sun was up and almost blinding us during some parts of our run. The mornings are already starting to be much milder. Let's hope this trend continues. The goal for our next run together, less talking and faster running;-) By the way, that was not my suggestion. Tonight, it's another training run fr me, this time with Richard. He worked out a nice 9 mile point to point run incorporating trail and road running and finishing at Five Guys for dinner. Counter-productive, you say? Who cares, being able to eat whatever I want is why I started running in the first place years ago.
